1. What is a NZB ?

NZB is an XML-based file format for retrieving posts from

NNTP (Usenet) servers. The format was conceived by the developers of the Newzbin.com Usenet Index. NZB is effective when used with search-capable websites. These websites create NZB files out of what is needed to be downloaded. Using this concept, headers would not be downloaded hence the NZB method is quicker and more bandwidth-efficient than traditional methods.

2.Can my ISP see what i am downloading ?

Yes they can see ,but if you use a ssl connection like usenet they cannot see what you download .....

3.Why Use NZB and not Torrents ?

NZB's use newsgroups ,therfore you dont have to upload ...files are only downloaded (no seeding back nessary)

4. What Programs do i use with NZB's ?

There are lots of diffent programs ,Altbinz ,Newsbin , etc . Altbinz is the easyest to use .

5.Were do i get the NZB from ?

There are may diffrent Websites (in Sa there is NZBSA )

6. Are NZB's Free ?

Yes , for older files you may have to sign up to some sites (NZBSA is free )

7. Can i use local bandwidth with NZB's

Yes you can ,(i personaly use Mweb unlimited and usenet )
